One method to know the sex of a baby from the sixth week of pregnancy is now marketed in Britain. By sending a drop of blood, taken after a finger and set on a blotting paper, a pregnant woman can know, in less than a week, the sex of the child she is carrying.Many experts condemn this method, which could result in interruptions of many pregnancies if the baby is not sex as the couple wishes or in countries like India and China by example

The agency biomedicine said that France would not allow this practice.
