Eating melons to lower its voltage

Some nutritionists recommend that Americans eat melons and watermelons to avoid problems with hypertension. According to Lona Sandon, Southwestern Medical Center linked to the University of Texas, eating fruits and seasonal vegetables rich in potassium helps to lower blood pressure. The equivalent of two cups of watermelon provide approximately 10% of the log recommended potassium. According to nutritionists, melons like cantaloupe and watermelons are particularly rich in potassium, a substance that helps to reduce tension. A quarter of a cantaloupe melon 800 to 900 milligrams of the substance, or approximately 20% of the recommended daily intake. The apricots, avocados, figs, kiwi, oranges, grapes, and potatoes are also sources of potassium.
