The daily figure: 31% of girls aged 11 have to think losing weight

The pre-adolescent of 11 years would be 19.2% thought they need to lose weight and 11.8% that they must follow a diet. That is what the data show the French international investigation Health behaviour in school-aged Children (HSBC) made public on September 2. Plus their age increases, the more they are likely to say need to lose weight or follow a regime, unlike the boys whose proportion remains at around 20% from 11 to 15 years.According to this survey, the girls would be 37.5% think need to lose weight or follow a diet to 13 years, and 46.2% at the age of 15 years.
