The pharmacists are doing their advertising to the general public

Tuesday, September 9, at a press conference, the College of Pharmacists has presented its campaign “The green cross, a sign that does not deceive.” Running until September 20, the campaign aims to reaffirm the role of pharmacists in public health. It is also an occasion to remind the French different missions pharmacists.According to an Ipsos Health study, conducted for the College of Pharmacists, and published in January 2008, 87% of French consider the pharmacist “primarily as a health professional, and not as a trader as another”. The survey also showed their commitment to security and proximity to purchase pharmacy.
Under the campaign, six major missions pharmacists are recalled. The advice on medicines, geographical proximity, the first action in access to care, continuity of care, pharmaceutical dossier and the security of the distribution are the six selected topics.
The campaign is aired on radio and in newspapers, and relayed in the network officinal. With this campaign, pharmacists are defending their profession. They recall that 4 million people daily cross the threshold of one of 23,000 pharmacies located throughout the territory.
