The relationship between cancer and diet are known for years.
The consumption of certain foods has unduly affect some cancers, such as the esophagus, mouth, larynx or colon.
According to WHO, one third of cancers would be caused by an unbalanced diet.
The changes in our lifestyle and our food, an excess of meat, sugar, fat, food manufacturers have skewed our organization.
The Suvimax study conducted for 8 years with 13000 showed that consumption of 5 fruits and vegetables per day decreased the risk of cancer by a third.
Those who do not consume enough fruits and vegetables have a risk of 1.5 to 2 times higher than those who consume regularly.20% of cancers could be prevented by consuming more fruits and vegetables.

The NSP advises 5 fruits and vegetables per day. Some experts suggest that to eat 5 to 8.
The meats and red meat may aggravate the risk of colon cancer.

The latest report of global fund research (FMRC) against cancer published in November 2007 defines the relationship between diet, physical activity and cancer.
Practicing physical activity 30 minutes each day
Avoid overweight and be as thin as possible while maintaining a BMI, body mass index comprised between 21 and 23
Avoid sugary drinks: limit the consumption of foods with high caloric density, especially products with high content of added sugar, or low in fiber, rich in fat.
Increasing consumption of vegetables, fruits, grains and pulses: consume at least 400 grams per day
Limit consumption of red meat and fat (beef, pork, lamb) to 500 grams per week and avoid meats, smoked meats and salt.
Merely one drink per day for women and two for men.
Limit consumption of salted foods and products containing added salt, such as chips and peanuts for example.
Do not take food supplements
The mothers should breast-feed exclusively for six months
